Meet Postie and Workie.

Two small apps by IE. Postie posts to your social accounts on a schedule. Workie finds new design and engineering jobs as they go up.

Postie (open the app)

A planner for your LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram and TikTok posts. Write them when you have time and line them up in a queue, and Postie publishes each one on the days and hour you pick.

Type an idea and Postie shows when it goes out on its default schedule: Wednesday to Friday at 4 PM Pacific. Each account picks its own days and hour. LinkedIn and Instagram posting works today; Threads and TikTok are planners for now.

Posts go out on time

At each slot, Postie publishes the next post in the queue if it's marked Ready. If it isn't, the queue waits and nothing gets skipped.

Written in your voice

Polish with AI follows the rules you set for each account: voice, audience, always and never, length, hashtags and example posts.

Workie (open the app)

A job board for design and engineering roles. Twice an hour it collects new postings from company career pages and job boards into one table, newest first, so you can apply while a role is still fresh.

Try it: drag the slider or pick a step.

First, Workie checks the job boards.

Career pages on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, remote job boards, and the new-grad lists on GitHub.

Then it drops the repeats.

When two places list the same job, it keeps one, and the company's own page wins.

Next, new jobs land up top.

Anything first seen in the last 24 hours gets its own band at the top of the table.

Last, you pick three to apply.

Tick the ones you've sent, and Workie remembers them next time you look.

New jobs get their own band

Everything new in the last 24 hours sits at the top of the table, and nothing else competes with it.

Checks twice an hour

Workie looks for new postings around 17 and 47 minutes past every hour, with your laptop closed.

Dead links, caught

Once a week Workie checks that every saved apply link still leads to a live posting.
